          Opportunity Cost

I bought a new pair of shoes from DSW that I totally convinced myself I would wear, I was looking at them in my closet this morning and realized that I've only worn them once for maybe about two hours.  I thought to  myself that I should have not impulse bought these shoes because I could have spent my 75 dollars in a better way by buying dinner or putting some in my college fund and then going out for coffee and treating my friend to a latte too. By making this purchase I didn't gain really anything.  I looked nice the first time I wore them but my feet hurt really bad after I was done in them. In the future I could buy a really expensive car. Although this car would be luxurious, I could buy a way better car that would fit my kids more comfortable and last me many years.  Plus, it would probably have a lot of storage space unlike some cars that are only seat two and have no trunk space.

Ideal Form Of Government Argument

I think that democracy is an ideal form of government because it gives the citizens the freedom to vote.  Not everyone is happy in this government, but there are always some people who aren't even if we were in an anarchy. Democracy gives people the choices to be able to chose their leader and other types of laws or rules that could change society for the better or worse. I believe in democracy because people have a little bit of power or leeway in their restrictions.
“The first duty of a man is to think for himself”― José Martí. This quote demonstrates that man can think for himself by voting for himself.
